How to Put a Video on a PSP

Adding videos to your PSP sounds easy, but it’s in fact a little tougher than it sounds. Follow our simple guide below to add a video on your PSP.

Step 1 - First, we recommend getting a large memory stick to add all of your files on. Normally an 8GB will do. Start by turning your PSP off and connecting it to your PC via USB cable.

Step 2 - Turn your PSP on and go to USB connection. This will connect the unit to your computer and will be accessible under the “My Computer” folder. It’s normally drive F:/ but it may be different on your computer.

Step 3 - Open up the memory stick folder under My Computer. Create a folder named 100MNV01 under MP_ROOT if it’s not already present.

Step 4 - Now you need to convert the videos you would like to add into MP4.

Step 5 - Copy the MP4 files to the 100MNV01 folder.

Step 6 - Disconnect the PSP, start it up, then go to “videos” tab. There you will find your videos ready to watch!
